“Can a man actually run the State Department?”

“I don’t know. As the saying goes, I have big heels to fill.”

That’s John Kerry asking a question and then answering it.

While I get that he’s joking, I have to ask why he would. I’m crabby today (see previous entry) but it struck me as patronizing.
