Okay. You've stepped in it so here's some cheap (free) advice from your friend in need, Sooey. The next time it comes up, say this into the microphone:
"No one hears the message, anymore. No one listens to the meaning behind the words. When I said they should teach Creationism alongside Science, I meant they should teach 'creatively' such sciences as 'cooking' and 'budgeting' and 'home maintenance' in public schools. Kids today really suffer from not having the basic skills they will need to live independently of their parents and step-parents and legal guardians (editorial note: be inclusive). So often I hear from harried moms, stepmoms, dads, stepdads, and legal guardians - 'Mohammed/Jessica (editorial note: ditto) don't know how to do anything. They can't even open a box of cereal without ripping the plastic bag inside wide open so that the cereal is stale within two days.' Cooking, budgeting, and home maintenace - these are skills that every child from every religion or non-religion will need in order to leave the nest - with confidence - whether it be a crib at Jane/Finch or a castle on the Bridle Path."
