Looking Down on Other Countries
I've noticed a smug Canadian superiority complex when it comes to some other countries with a tendency towards the violent overthrowing of their governments.
I dunno, but when 40% of Canadians don't vote because they don't see the point or can't be bothered or just don't like any of the options available to them, I wonder if we're not missing out on something better because we won't smash the state and start over.
But seriously, if we go from this Senate to an elected Senate instead of no Senate, it may be time to get out of our armchairs.
