Anyway, as I said on my forum (this video was posted there by another poster) that's pretty much how the Israel/Palestine debate went down on The Agenda, too. My favourite commenter was this guy, who was also the best looking person to ever appear on TVO:
Oren Yakobovich is director of the video department at B'Tselem, an Israeli human rights organization addressing human rights issues in the Occupied Territories. He has worked as a director, producer, screenwriter and photographer, combining these skills with his dedication to social concerns to produce documentary films. He is a former officer in the Golani brigade of Israel's Defense Forces.
Personally, I think the David Frums of the world don't really understand that the right thing to do is also the only thing to do for the people who actually live in Israel. But he doesn't live there, does he. So really, it's all academic to him, isn't it.
And crazy talk to anyone with a sense of humanity.
