Mr. Baird has said he never had a scheduled meeting with Mr. O'Brien, but may have bumped into him at Hy's. In an interview with OPP detectives, Mr. Baird said he told them he was dining with a constituent -- not Mr. O'Brien. The cabinet minister declined to tell the Citizen the identity of the male constituent.
