Old Battles Resurrected
If you're on the left, it seems like every other day you're refighting an old battle resurrected by the right because it just can't stand not living in Naziland. Today is no exception.
Some knob at the Ottawa Carleton District School Board (it's Ottawa Carleton because there used to be two school boards, one Ottawa, one Carleton - now there's just one BIG school board called Ottawa Carleton) has re-introduced the uniform debate.
Not that it's a debate, really. It's just some knob of a Trustee who wants kids to wear uniforms because he's a bit of a Nazi and Nazis like uniforms.
I guess.
I can't think of any other reason, quite frankly, why someone would want to introduce a mandatory uniform policy for public school kids.
Of course, he's the same knob who wanted to introduce a mandatory "Wear Red On Fridays To Support The Troops" policy for public school kids, too.
I'm guessing he's a New Conservative. And a Christian. And white. And male.
And a knob.
