Rightwing Governments
The thing I don't like about rightwing governments, is that they scapegoat citizens to justify their mean ideologies. Ever notice that? I mean, think about Mike Harris. Remember how he made out like "welfare moms" were the real scourge of society and not corporate polluters or insider traders or tax frauders or any of those big wigs that rightwing governments are so afraid of that eventually their boots get all warped from quaking in 'em?
Personally, I think Stephen Harper is worse than Mike Harris because, where Mike Harris knew he was just a thug to whom voters were dumbassed enough to hand the keys to the Treasury, Stephen Harper believes himself to be better than the rest of us - certainly better than everybody left of his mean self.
And the proof for me, that he's mean, that he's just a rightwing ideologue who doesn't give a rat's ass about actual people, is that the worst of the Harrisites are in his Cabinet, and that rich and powerful Corporate CEOs were welcomed into the Security and Prosperity Agreement with Bush Inc while all other Canadian citizens were left to hang out and dry.
Oh - and that anyone who had the nerve to protest this assault on Democracy was left to deal with police forces (that we pay for with our tax dollars but who evil hench for Stephen Harper and the New Conservative Government of Canada) deliberately inciting violence against them in an effort to discredit their more than legitimate protest.
That's what I don't like about rightwing governments.
