You know, if every time a Christian woman was murdered by her ex for leaving him, the media went to a Christian leader for an explanation as to why this had happened - or perhaps, REAL Women, to ask their opinion as to why this had happened - I imagine we'd all get pretty tired pretty quickly of hearing from Christian leaders and REAL Women as if they represented the entire Christian community with regards to women's issues and, in particular, violence against women.
I'm just saying.
Also, I've noticed a number of Rightwing Pundits are blaming Feminists and Feminist women's groups for not preventing or speaking out against the murders in Canada of teenaged girls by their Muslim fathers every single gawddamned time it happens.
Uh hunh.
It reminds me of when Mark Lepine gunned down a lot of women because he was crazy and had a gun and hated Feminists and those same Rightwing Pundits got angry about how all men got tarred with the violence against women brush by some Feminist women's groups such that they are STILL angry about the injustice of it all and even re-run columns annually to re-express their outrage lest we forget how unfair it is of Feminists to blame all men for the actions of one man.
Yup. Like shooting fish in a barrel it is. And yet, I'm just the office clerk and they've got the public pulpits.
