Women - Can't Argue With That

Read this and I guarantee, even though I'm not a pop psychologist who's just written a book, that if you are a woman, your blood pressure will rise, but if you are a man you'll be okay because you won't read past "Read this":

DamnBroads

"Women have been influenced by popular culture and feminism to think, 'We fought too long and hard to get our way for somebody to tell us what to do,'" said Dr. Haltzman, noting that a male gesture as innocuous as recommending one gas station over another can be misinterpreted as his way of asserting control.

"A lot of the reason why we get involved in these power struggles is that we don't understand the other person's motivations."

Actually, Dr. Idiot, women behave like individuals in arguments - not women. That's because women are individuals. Never, ever, never, ever (and I'm speaking in absolutes, here) have I thought as a wife, "Women fought too long and hard to get our way for somebody to tell us what to do" and proceeded accordingly. I have thought, "I don't want us all to die penniless and starving in the streets, townsfolk throwing rocks at us and so I simply must win this argument", however.

I mean, really. Sometimes I think pop psychologists who write books about gender just want to perpetuate a lot of stereotypical nonsense that was put out there in the first place by pop psychologists who write books about gender - in order to sell their books to people who want to believe that women behave like stereotypes and not people.

Here's a title for your next book, Dr. Idiot: "Men are from God, Women are from the Devil".
