See, what Mark Steyn forgets is that it's guys like him (yes, the prototype repulsive 50s sitcom Patriarch) who keep western Feminists so busy trying to retain the gains they've made for women, here, that they have less time to sound the alarm bell for women at greater risk of harm due to Patriarchy in other parts of the world.
It would help, just an itsybitsyteenweeny yellowpolkadotbikini bit, if the Big Ol' Male Chauvinist Pig would concede, at least, that Feminism is the signature political movement of western civilization and is exactly what differentiates us from the animals, the animals being guys worse than him, even - like the Taliban.
Yeah, I know - when Big Ol' Male Chauvinist Pigs fly.
But just for a brief refresher for those who haven't followed very closely the writings of Mr. Crazy I Tells Ya, when the Taliban was busy blowing up statues in Afghanistan and pundits like Hisself and his dumber twin, David (Never Lets Up, Even For Lent) Warren, were lamenting the loss of historical relics, western Feminists had long since been underburkacover in Afghanistan to alert the world about the treatment women were receiving at the hands of the Taliban.
Yes, indeed. Let the record show, Your Honour, that Afghanistan's treatment of women was old news to western Feminists by the time Steyn/Warren were boohooing about the blowed up statues and whatever will we do now and why can't the Taliban be more like a western man.
That's a fact that doesn't jive well with Sir FullO'Shit - but it's still a fact. Meanwhile, the War on Terror and the War on Afghanistan - Ol'PsychoNuts' preferred way of supporting women's rights across the world (because the SquirrelBrain certainly doesn't support them here, preferring western women strapped to gurneys in forced childbirth as mandated by the State or "manning" FreeMarkSteyn websites) has resulted in worse living conditions for women than ever conceived of under either Saddam Hussein OR the Taliban. And that's not counting all the women who are dead - thanks to western freedom fighters - who wouldn't be dead otherwise.
But, of course, dead women aren't even up there in priority with the unborn - HERE - so there's no point in expecting Misogynists to care much about dead women in Afghanistan. Which is STILL not to say that they don't care more about dead women in Afghanistan than they do about live women here, live women here being more likely to be Feminists.
So yeah, rage against the Feminist machine, Dude. Because none of what's going on in the world is thanks to our Gawd-lurvin', Feminist-hatin', leaders - HERE - in the west, where FEMINISM IS THE SIGNATURE POLITICAL MOVEMENT OF OUR CIVILIZATION AND THAT WHICH DIFFERENTIATES US FROM THE ANIMALS, YOU STUPID, STUPID, STUPID PUNDIT!
