Cuba and the Scarecrow
And by scarecrow, I mean the straw man argument put up by the Right that the Left excuses Cuba because it comes off better in terms of human rights than most other notorious dictatorships.
Hay - some straw man arguments just aren't that bad, I guess. Kind of like Cuba (she said from her perch in the Right's Cuba North).
But say, here's a kneejerk litmus test for you, Rightwingers: Would you rather be a new mother in Cuba? Or a new mother in Gaza?
