Girly Girls In a Man's World
It took me a while to figure out girly girls but now I realize - they're a crucial element to the future of Feminism because girly girls want it all.
And why not? They want all the recognition by society that it's a helluva lot more work being female (ask any girl when she starts the hair removal process, "if you could just switch sexes and let it grow, would you?") and they want compensation for the extra work.
I mean, I grew up figuring girls had to learn to conform to a man's world, but now I'm realizing - hey - why should we have to conform to it instead of it conforming to us?
See, men in middle-age don't wake up at 3:00 a.m. with hot flashes so they don't get these revelations, revelations they wouldn't have anyway because the world has been designed to accomodate maleness, not femaleness.
It's a big difference, looking at the world as being there for you (male), instead of looking at you as being there for the world (female), and if men could understand that, they'd understand why women are such bitches after a while.
I dunno, maybe that girly girl assertiveness (something most women lack almost entirely) is what will bring about those little changes to enable girls and women to live female lives in what has traditionally been a man's world.
