Politicians and Prostitutes
Am I the only one who figures politicians and prostitutes go together like peanut butter and bananas? Here's Ms. Zerb's take on it:
But seriously, my guess is the wife just doesn't have very good taste in men. She's married to a politician, afterall. It takes a special kind of old-fashioned dame (or lesbian, I guess) to put up with a politician who is told, day in and day out, by staffers who double as groupies, that he's terrific (and all male politicians are told that day in and day out by their staffers - no matter how repulsive they actually are).
It's why women still don't have equality with men as bequeathed by a benevolent government. Male politicians - who have always had all the power in this country and south of the border and could make abortion rights, at the very least, a done deal, legally - would rather have unsafe anal sex with young prostitutes so nobody ends up with an unwanted pregnancy - than follow through on some shrill diatribe by the Feminist Ball & Chain Brigade back at the office.
Right guys? Oh, and the prices? Whoa. That's a man with a big wallet, eh? Or public purse, anyway. Just ask Mike Harris, the Taxfighter (or Jim Flaherty, his Family Values treasurer), who dated plenty while he was Premier and won back to back majority governments, so impressed were the voters of Ontario.
