Stephen Harper's Creepy New Country
Call me crazy, but it appears to me that our New Conservative government and its pundits in the Media are waging war against Feminism. Notice how the War on Afghanistan is being sold to Canadians as "for women in Afghanistan" and Bill C-484 is being sold to Canadians as "for women in Canada"?
I have. And I think it's pretty creepy. You know, because they're telling great big whopping lies to the electorate about the reasons for their actions.
What's even creepier is when New Conservative pundits in the Media swarm the Press Releases, wagging bony old fingers at Feminists for not going along with the storyline, screeching at their readers: "The New Conservative government cares about women! Feminists don't care about women! They want women in Afghanistan to suffer and men who kill pregnant women to get off scott free! We and our exalted leaders care about women! Feminists don't care about women!"
Gawd. Say, you know what is true? Islamic Terrorists and Christian Fundamentalists both hate Feminists.
Oh, and the Media in this country sucks.
