Sunday of Cadmangate
Hey everybody, let's not forget that we're talking about dirty political tricks by backroom boys, here. I mean, I worked at the provincial NDP when the Liberals were in power in Ontario and I remember a couple of backroom boys coming up with the strategy of focusing on the female cabinet ministers during Question Period because their thinking was that they'd be easier to knock off.
You know - like they were the weak link because they were female politicians.
The Members, of course, were fine with it because Members know the reason for political backroom boys is that they, the Members, don't get any on 'em. It's a very symbiotic relationship and it works very well for both backroom boys and politicians and ain't nothin' to be done about it - apparently.
Think Rona Ambrose. She would have been targeted by the Opposition because she's a woman and the political backroom boys always figure the public doesn't REALLY like women in politics (mostly because they don't).
I know, I know - very sexist, isn't it. But that's why they're called "backroom boys" and not "whores" - there just aren't many backroom girls.
You know why? Because the leaders and leading Members in Canada's political parties are mostly men, and backroom boys know that if there are backroom girls, the girls will get the inside edge on the boys because they can have actual sex with the Members - so they make sure girls never get into the backroom.
I always thought the backroom boys weren't trying hard enough, myself, to get that inside track, but - what do I know? I was only ever a clerk.
(Sooey Aside: Listen up girls - once a clerk, always a clerk. Never learn how to do anything practical with regards to office work and you'll go far. Trust me. Of course, you'll probably never have to admit to having once been a backroom boy, either.)
Anyway, I just thought I'd ask - (since one of the backroom boys who was supposed to have been involved in this Cadman fiasco, if it is a fiasco and if he was involved, is a Fraser Institute t'inker) - have you noticed how many studies from the Fraser Institute have been published by the mainstream media proving that hard right political policies are not only the ones the Government of Canada should be adopting, but are also the ones Canadians WANT the Government of Canada to adopt?
Because I have and it's really annoying on account of it's such a BIG FUCKING LIE!!! I mean, it's really not conscionable for the media to be paying any attention whatsoever to the Fraser Institute and yet, cripes, I think Canwest must reference it every day in one of its Nooze Rticles or Advertorials.
By the way, the New Conservative Party has gobs of money, gobs of it. That's why it's ready for an election ALL THE TIME!!! and could easily have paid any amount for a $1,000,000 life insurance policy. NOT that it necessarily did. And NOT that the tape with Stephen Harper, himself, on it confirming in his own words that he was well aware of "financial considerations" having been made to Chuck Cadman on his deathbed wasn't doctored. Or doesn't really mean anything much even if it wasn't doctored - because people say lots of things that don't necessarily have any context or meaning.
ESPECIALLY IF THEY'RE ON CRACK!!!!!
