Who knows? Maybe Falun Gong or Tibet will rise up and inspire another round of threats from the West to boycott the opening ceremonies of the Beijing Olympics. Or maybe CBC will even cancel its advertising campaign for the Games. Or hold off until May 1st, at least.

Hm, Hu Jia. I notice a lot of "for"s but not a lot of "against"s. The West likes it better (for a few days, while the protest is being televised, anyway) when Chinese dissidents campaign against something - like oppression. Campaigning for stuff doesn't translate nearly as well.
