Let My People Gay
Another study, another attempt by scientists to prove what decent society already knows - homosexuality is biological, it's not a choice.
Which brings me to today's two questions: What and why the hell should it matter whether homosexuality is biological or not? Are we not living in a free, democratic and educated country here? Are we a people who care about justice and civilization or are we forever destined to measure our morality in regards to human rights against the corrupt Christian construct of the political Right?
ARE WE NOT MEN?!
I mean, how much money, time and effort are we willing to spend attempting to appease adherents TO THE FRIGGIN' BIBLE, ferchrissakes?! GAWDAMMIT! Can we please elect intelligent people to government next go 'round?
Please. I don't ask for much. Just a little brain activity from our legislators, who, at present, seem to be from the lowest life form available on the planet.
Perhaps we should have a minimum standard required to put your name on a ballot - "Biped".
