Sexism and Biker Chicks - Updated to Include Feminism
Okay. There's a shitstorm in the blogomediasphere about who's being sexist about Julie Couillard and who isn't. Well, here's a hint: talking about her at all is sexist because what's to talk about except her rack?
So, is it a spectacular rack or does she just have big breasts with an okay face on top? Because to me, a gal who falls in the A-Plus/B-Minor range, it's not the size that counts, it's how you use 'em.
Of course, I would say that, wouldn't I - I've got a great face on top.
But there's another sexist side to this story that I've noticed no one wants to tackle and it's this: Did the mindless thugs in Julie Couillard's old life, before she met Maxime Bernier, only date her because of her rack? I mean, I can't help but notice two things: a) I've never been attracted to mindless thugs, and; b) mindless thugs have never been attracted to me - and I've got a great face on top.
So, now I'm wondering if it's all because of my little rack and not just my Feminism. Because if it is, that's sexist. Ergo, bikers are SEXIST mindless thugs, not just mindless thugs. And if Julie Couillard and I were at a biker party, would she ditch me because of my little rack and not just because of my Feminism? I bet she would. Which makes Julie Couillard pretty sexist, too, if you really stop and think about it.
Which no one ever does, I've noticed.
Oh, and sexist side number three (afterall, we do say "from coast to coast to coast", too) - is it sexist to REAL "bad boys" to call bikers "bad boys"? Afterall, bikers are actually just mindless thugs - aren't they? "Bad boys", I think, should be reserved for those who go against the established order, you know, lone wolf style and pay the price by living OUTSIDE the system, not so entrenched in it that their girlfriends go straight from the clubhouse to Cabinet when they go straight.
So. Yeah. Is anybody else sick of biker chicks boohooing in the press about the press and the press boohooing back about biker chicks?
And if I get in trouble with a mindless thug OR a Cabinet Minister (it's always raining men wherever there's trouble, I've noticed) because of this entry, blame the sexist blogomediasphere for me - please.
