Speaking of Politically Correct
Here's something you don't hear very often from the honest moms of today: I put absolutely no thought into having kids. None. When I turned 30, I decided I wanted kids more than anything. So I had one, two, three. I would have had four, but our '83 Toyota Tercel could only handle three car seats and the father-to-be-again made an executive decision. I don't know what I was thinking to get a mid-sized dog. It's not like he fit in the backseat any better than another car seat would have done. But he's a good boy. Kind of crazy and hard to train, but he goes to sleep at nine o'clock on the dot every night and you can always tell by his tail when we're going to get a thunder storm.
