Psychic Child Abuse
There's a news story making the rounds of the blogosphere today about the CAS being notified by a school principal about a child sexual abuse tip which came from an education assistant (i.e. teacher's helper) - based on a psychic reading (which must have included some awfully leading answers to some bizarrely irrelevant questions to have come up with "a youngster whose name started with "V" was being sexually abused by a man between 23 and 26 years old.") The parent of the child was actually called in to the principal's office and informed that, indeed, based on a psychic's... what's the word, even... psypothesizing? psybrication? psyginationizing? the school had no choice but to inform the CAS of the allegation.
What's even more bizarre is that the school and its board are sticking to their guns on having followed proper protocol in informing CAS of the psychic's... psycusation.
No word on what the psychic has to say now. I wonder what it would cost to find out?
