It's ironic, but Chinese citizens who ignore the abuses of their government against dissidents, and old ladies who get in the way of redevelopment projects, remind me a lot of Rightwingers here at home. I mean, Canadian Rightwingers are always so lockstep with the iron fisted methods of their New Conservative government that I can absolutely imagine them informing on dissenters if it meant we'd lose our assets and be sent to re-education camps.
And I can just imagine if they manage to recriminalize abortion. It'll give a whole new meaning to "Neighbourhood Watch".
