My Election Analysis
I used to be a bit of a politico, but I've come to loathe politicians for some reason. Or a lot of reasons. It might be because they're all men, and I'm sick of men running everything. Or it might be because wherever politicians are, the political media follows. And I'm sick of the political media - mostly because it's all male, too, and so yesterday it may as well be a pillbox hat.
Anyway, I guess we've got an election campaign of our own coming up. So get ready for a lot of shameless family pimping. You know, because politicians and families go together like pimps and prostitutes. Say, if I was Liberal leader, I'd ask whatever happened to that $5,000 savings account tax shelter the New Conservatives promised in the last budget. Because you can't get it, you know. I've been to the bank to ask about it. And if I was in the media, I'd ask everybody running their views on abortion. Over and over and over. Until they admitted they're only in politics to save the unborn.
That's about it, though. I mean, if Canadians can't see by now that the New Conservatives are only in government to destroy it, it's hard to care much. I'm okay, Jack. So are my friends and family - none of whom voted for Stephen Harper and his New Conservative Party of Canada.
We're just smart, I guess. I'm not sure how dumb you'd have to be to vote for a government-hating politician who wants to be in government, a family man who pimps his family while he stumps for votes to get a job which will ensure he spends as little time with his family as possible, a one-issue man whose one issue is to force girls and women to give birth to souls for God.
