Afraid in Ottawa
Who ARE all these scaredy cats who need MPP Yasir Naqvi's "Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods Act" passed all of a sudden. I mean, I'm a middle-aged woman living in downtown Ottawa in an unlocked apartment building and I don't feel even remotely unsafe. Or, at least, I didn't until MPP Yasir Naqvi came along with his "Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods Act". Now, that's some scary legislation, especially since the police are jumping up and down in anticipation of having it passed. I mean, this Bill is ALL about anonymous snitching and property seizures, fellow citizens. Who, other than the Not So Secret Society of Fascists, would want it passed into law?
