Apartheid Israel
Gee, maybe if Israel doesn't like being called an apartheid state, it should stop being an apartheid state.
What is it with Israel, anyway? Semantics, semantics, semantics.
And why is it so sensitive about being called an apartheid state, anyway? It's not like it wasn't BFFs with South Africa for a couple of decades while everyone else was boycotting wine and, uh, Boers.
So yeah - when Israel apologists point out that Israel non-apologists seem to hold Israel to a higher standard (than, say, Saudi Arabia or the United States), I suppose they have a point. I mean, why do we?
