"We Can't Win In Afghanistan"
No. We can't, Stephen Harper. But, of course, most Canadians knew that already. So, having failed to even recognize what was possible in Afghanistan, such as minor improvements in the lives of girls and women (I'm a sucker for war-time propaganda) through the hard work of diplomacy backed up by a little muscle, we're going to abandon them instead, because war is too hard a sell at election time when the stock market is down.
Well, it's pretty clear to me the intent of your sudden reckoning is to paint Michael Ignatieff (i.e. the new Liberal dork in town) into a corner on Afghanistan - with the bonus track of making the new President of the United States look like a war monger and yourselves as the reasonable learners of the Afghanistan lesson.
Good one, New Conservatives. You've served your own interests well.
