The Braidwood Inquiry
The awful and awesome thing of it all is that now Canadians know how fast and loose law enforcement officers play with the truth and we're learning it at a time when the New Conservative Government of Canada is planning on giving them increased unchecked powers over their fellow Canadians. A real Opposition would at least insist that "getting tough on crime" begin with getting tough on law enforcement officials. But since we don't have one, we'll have to hope that a natural disaster, such as a tornado or hurricane, strikes the Parliament Buildings, forcing yet another hiatus in day-to-day operations.
