Regressive Conservatives
It's amusing to me how often Rightwingers on the Internet claim that the real reason its New Conservative government is making a right royal hash of governing is because it's not Conservative enough.
True in one sense, I guess. At least if the New Conservative government had governed conservatively and not done much of anything, but rather, stayed the good-old-fashioned Canadian course, we wouldn't be living in one big fat unfunctioning ideologically driven mess of a country right now.
