The Right Stuff
You hear a lot from the government about plans to stimulate the economy (and if an election isn't stimulus spending, I don't know what is) but I think what's really needed are ideas to stimulate Canadians. And we need a government that won't compromise on the environment, social programs - all the good things in life - when the economy isn't growing. I mean, it's pretty telling when a government can't protect the progress we've made as a society just because it's not awash in easy money. Isn't it?
