Canadian Culture
Why are we tsktsking about what is happening to people from other cultures, within their culture, when they come here? I mean, obviously, the failing is ours as a society if women from elsewhere in the world AND/OR women who are native born to Canada are being murdered in our midst by men who see it as their right - for any reason.
It seems to me we are much less than we think we are with our insistence on protecting religion - all religion - as we do here in Canada.
Rights and freedoms belong to individuals, not Institutions.
